Ottorino , founding member and soul of Laminox, Industrial Electronics and Servomechanisms training, after a long experience in the field of CNC machine tools and flexible production systems in the context of ECS Electronic Control Systems in Florence, he decided to start his own mechanical company based on the use of those technologies that brought him to meet  the main national mechanical manufacturing companies. Customers didn't take long to arrive, the company has had collaborations over time with pharmaceutical, winemaking and mechanical companies both for the production of stainless steel parts and for the development and construction of automated machines. The development on behalf of the company Parsec in Florence of a reassembly system with double-motion spraying and its great success, has triggered a collaboration in which Laminox develops and produces the mechanical part of many devices that are selled in the main world winemaking markets.
